Leona's personal perspective on all things 2010 Vancouver Olympic Winter Games.
Please be advised that it is technically illegal to use the word "Olympic" or to have a personal perspective anywhere in BC til the end of 2010, unless you are the Vancouver Olympic Committee or one of its sponsors. So, if I should happen to express views that upset or disturb you in any way, please leave something like "Let's support our athletes!" or "The Olympics have done so much for Vancouver!" or "Can't you just get in the spirit??" in the comments section, and that ought to distance you from any and all illegal statements I may make. thanks! and yes, one hopes we get our city back in an unmutilated condition. and I couldn't bear to watch the closing ceremonies due to the embarrassingly cheesy musical acts.
the Americans fought with honour ... they were worthy adversaries!
I just read this morning that closing ceremonies were last night (complete with inflatable Mounties), so I guess you'll get your city back eventually.
